Alper Kasap is a multi award-winning Cinematographer who works on a broad spectrum of narrative projects. Alper is known for his dedication to telling evocative stories by virtue of establishing a distinct visual language that creates a visceral and immersive experience for the viewer.
Alper is an alumni of the highly acclaimed American Society of Cinematographers MasterClass held in Hollywood, he has also twice won the coveted Gold award as the best cinematographer in the state at the Australian Cinematography Society Awards.
In 2020, his work on The Fall, which was selected as a finalist for Best Film at the Sydney Film Festival and Something Died In The Forest a script that was mentored by Jane Campion, has capitivated viewers in both his range as a visual artist, but also in creating a symbiotic relationship through form & story.
Alper’s most recent long form project was an 8 part tv series for a large streaming platform in Europe. The project was showcased on the global ARRI website and instagram account.
